Here's a moment most twirling parents know.

You're searching for a new coach. Maybe you moved. Maybe your daughter leveled up and needs someone more specialized. Maybe you're just getting started and have no idea where to begin. You pull up a list. You see names. You see initials in gray circles. You see studios you've never heard of and aren't sure how to reach. So you close the tab, because nothing felt real enough to reach out to.

That moment is what we fixed.

Coaches now have real profiles.

Coaches on TwirlPower can now upload a headshot photo, write a full bio, and display the organizations they coach — USTA, NBTA, TU, DMA, AAU, WTA. When a parent searches for a coach in their state and org, they see a real person, not a placeholder. And when they're ready to reach out, they can include a personal message with their connection request — introduce their twirler, mention their level, ask a question before committing to anything. The coach sees that message in their notification email. First contact just became a lot less awkward on both sides.

Finding a coach just got better for families too.

The coach search now filters by state and organization — so if you're looking for a NBTA coach in Ohio, you go straight there. No scrolling through everyone.

If you're a coach — your program just got a real home.

We know how most small twirling programs actually run. Group text for announcements. Venmo for payment requests. A calendar app for scheduling, a spiral notebook for the rest, and a combination of memory and crossed fingers for pretty much everything else. You make it work because you love what you do. But making it work isn't the same as running it well.

Three tools changed that.

Messaging.

Send a broadcast to all your families at once, or start a direct conversation with one. Families can read and reply in-app. Unread badges let you know who hasn't seen the important stuff. You also get email notifications when someone replies — so nothing falls through the cracks. Families can message you first too. The group text is officially optional.

Private Lesson Scheduling.

Families request a preferred date and time. You review it, confirm, or suggest an alternate. The lesson is locked in. Both of you get reminder emails 24 hours before and one hour before. You can set your cancellation policy so families know the rules before they ever send a request. The back-and-forth text chain is retired.

Invoicing.

Send itemized invoices for lessons, equipment, uniforms, clinic fees — whatever applies — directly to families in the app. Include your preferred payment method: Venmo, Zelle, check, whatever you use. Track draft, sent, paid, and overdue status in one view. And if you've been logging lessons in TwirlPower, you can pull them straight into an invoice with one click. No retyping. No spreadsheet.

Coming next for coaches.

Online payment collection via Stripe Connect and recurring monthly billing for lesson packages, team dues, and uniform fees are both in active development. We'll have more to share soon.

Club profiles got an upgrade too.

Clubs now have a photo, a practice location and directions field, a website link, and a coach roster — with photos and verified badges. Families browsing a club can see who coaches there before they ever request to join. It's a real first impression, not just a name in a list.

A "Find a Club" tab is coming with the next release — same search experience as Find a Coach, filterable by state, with club photo, coach count, and member count on each card.

One more thing.

TwirlPower for families is officially out of beta.

Families can track their twirler's classification levels, competition results, and advancement progress across USTA, NBTA, TU, DMA, AAU, and WTA. The app is stable, the features are solid, and it will always be free. There's no "free during beta" caveat anymore — it's just free.

What's coming next? The director app. Competition directors will be able to manage full events inside TwirlPower — entries, schedules, brackets, results. The director app is in active development and entering beta soon. If you run competitions and want to be among the first to use it, keep an eye on this page.

Thanks for being here. We're just getting started.
